Syllabus Aim<\/strong><br>The Mathematics syllabus for class <a href=\"https:\/\/basiceducation.pk\/edu\/mcm-final-merit-list-class-8th-entry-2024\/\">8th entry<\/a> test is revised &amp; designed to provide candidates a target of<br>preparation to acquire a minimum of the foundation of Mathematics before getting <a href=\"https:\/\/basiceducation.pk\/edu\/military-college-sui-admission-2024-for-1st-year-online\/\">admission<\/a> in CCO. The<br>foundation requires a balance between knowledge, understanding, and skills to enable students to<br>become effective learners to continue their educational journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B. Assessment Objectives<\/strong><br>Candidates should be able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recognize the appropriate mathematical procedures for a given situation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform calculations by suitable methods without a calculator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand systems of measurement in everyday use and make use of them in the solution of<br>Problems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimate, approximate and work to degrees of accuracy appropriate to the context and convert<br>between equivalent numerical forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize, interpret, and present information accurately in written, tabular, graphical and<br>diagrammatic forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use mathematical instruments to measure and to draw figures in a given situation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interpret, transform, and make appropriate use of mathematical statements expressed in words or<br>symbols<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recall, apply and interpret mathematical knowledge in the context of everyday situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze a problem, select a suitable strategy, and apply an appropriate technique to obtain its solution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply combinations of mathematical skills and techniques in problem-solving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study and draw graphs and infer results<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>C.
