Military College Jhelum (MCJ) invites online applications for admission to the 8th class for the 2025 entry. Ensure your application is submitted by the deadlines below to avoid late fees.
Important Dates:
- Normal Fee Deadline: 30 September 2024
- Double Fee Deadline: 10 October 2024
- Triple Fee Deadline: 20 October 2024
- Examination Date: 27 October 2024 (Sunday)
How to Apply
- Application Submission:
- Visit the MCJ website to fill out and submit the application form online.
- After submission, print the Fee Challan Form.
- Deposit the registration fee at any online branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL).
- Download your Roll No Slip within three days of fee verification.
Registration Fees
- Wards of Army Officers (Serving/Retired): Rs.2,300/-
- Wards of Junior Commissioned Officers/Soldiers (Serving/Retired): Rs.1,800/-
- Wards of Civilians and Others (including Navy, Air Force, MES, Rangers, FC, Coast Guards Personnel, etc.): Rs.2,800/-
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Candidates must be between 12 to 14 years old as of 01 April 2025. A 90-day age waiver may be granted by the competent authority upon request.
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 7th class or be appearing in the 7th class final exam. Selected candidates must submit their 7th class results upon joining.
- Gender: Only male candidates are eligible.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Female candidates
- Candidates withdrawn from any Military College/Cadet Colleges on discipline/moral grounds
- Overage or underage candidates
- Candidates declared medically unfit by the Medical Board
- Candidates submitting tampered certificates/documents
- Concealment of information in the application form
Selection Procedure
Admission will be based on performance in the following:
- Written Test
- Intelligence Test/Interview
- Medical Examination
Examination Schedule
The entrance examination will be held on Sunday, 27 October 2024. The test will include:
- MCQ-based objective type questions on OMR Sheets from subjects like English, Urdu, Mathematics, General Science, and Islamiyat (Pak Studies for Non-Muslims).
- Subjective type paper (comprehension) in English and Urdu from the syllabus of classes 5th, 6th, and 7th of Federal and Punjab Text Book Board.
- Specimen papers of MCQs and comprehension along with OMR Sheet are available on the MCJ website for reference.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Intelligence Test/Interview at designated centers. Only the finally selected candidates will be informed.
Joint Military Education and Training
Selected cadets may undergo additional training at PAF or Pak Navy Cadet Colleges after passing the 10th class.

Note: Incomplete applications or those without the required fee will not be entertained. Applications received after the due date will not be considered as the online admission system will be disabled automatically after the deadline. Examination centers cannot be changed once selected. There is no refund policy for the registration fee. Any changes in the examination date will be updated on the MCJ website. Meeting the qualifying criteria does not guarantee admission.
