Pre-Cadet Residential Houses

Students at PAF College reside in six houses named after PAF heroes: Alam, Alauddin, Iqbal, Munir, Rafiqui, and Yunus. Each house is managed by a Housemaster, Assistant Housemaster, and Physical Training Instructor. Leadership training is a key component, with senior students taking on roles such as Headboy and House Captains, fostering teamwork and a spirit of camaraderie.

History of PAF College Sargodha

PAF College Sargodha was founded in 1953 following approval from Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, Liaquat Ali Khan. Modeled after the English Public School System, it originally provided education up to the Senior Cambridge level. Over the years, the college has undergone several transformations:

  • In 1967, it adopted the matriculation and FSc system, becoming a full-fledged college.
  • In 1973, the college was integrated into the PAF Academy Risalpur, where students were inducted as flight cadets.
  • In 1990, the institution reverted to its Public School System roots, offering education from 8th class to FSc level. It was briefly named PAF Public School Sargodha in 2002 before its title was restored to PAF College Sargodha in 2015.
