Last updated: 3 November 2026. Parents ask us about the Cadet College Kohat (CCK) fee more than almost anything else, so we’ve rebuilt this page to answer the question properly: what you pay once at admission, what you pay every month, and what extra costs you should plan for.
A quick word on accuracy first. The schedule below is the latest one CCK has published, effective from 1 April 2024. The college has not released a newer public fee schedule since then, and it clearly says fees can be revised at any time. Before you pay anything, confirm the current figures with the CCK accounts office.
One-time charges at admission (Class 8 and Class 11)
| Charge | Amount |
|---|---|
| Admission fee | Rs 50,000 |
| Security (refundable) | Rs 25,000 |
| Total at joining | Rs 75,000 |
Class 11 charges
| Type of cadet | Amount |
|---|---|
| Re-admission (present CCK cadets moving to Class 11) | Rs 5,000 |
| New lateral entry cadets (admission + security) | Rs 75,000 |
| Lateral Entry Scheme, Class 11 | Rs 200,000 |
The difference is important. A boy who joined in Class 8 pays only Rs 5,000 to continue into Class 11. A boy joining fresh at Class 11 pays the full joining charges, and the Lateral Entry Scheme carries a much higher one-time cost.
Monthly fee schedule
CCK’s monthly fee (tuition, boarding, messing and allied charges) varies by category. Here is the official published table:

Costs that are not in the fee table
This is the part that surprises families in the first term. Budget for these on top of the fee:
- Uniforms, sports kit and shoes (bought once, then replaced as boys grow)
- Books and stationery
- Travel to and from Kohat at the start and end of each term
- Pocket money as allowed by the college
- Board exam registration fees for Class 9 to 12
As a rule of thumb, add 15 to 25 percent to the yearly fee total for these extras, depending on how far you live from Kohat.

Tips for paying fees without stress
- Keep every paid challan in one file. You will need them if the security refund is ever delayed.
- Ask the college whether fees are charged monthly, termly or quarterly for your son’s class, and set a reminder a week before each due date.
- Ask whether any fee concession is available for siblings, shuhada families or deserving students.
