Military College of Engineering (MCE)

Established in 1952 in Risalpur, the Military College of Engineering (MCE) has evolved into one of Pakistan’s leading educational institutions. In 2012, MCE launched Pakistan’s first MS program in Disaster Management.

Additionally, over 1,000 graduates have completed their Masters, and more than 100 have earned doctoral degrees from prestigious universities worldwide.

MCE’s BE program is consistently accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under the Washington Accord’s Outcome-Based Education system. The college has contributed to significant projects such as the development of the Building Code of Pakistan with Fire Safety Provisions, national projects on asphalt mix design technology improvement, real-time monitoring of the Shisper Glacier in Hunza, establishment of a mining cadastre system for KPK, and mineral resource estimation for the Boya Degan Copper Mine in North Waziristan Agency.
