Admission Process for Class 8th at PAF College Sargodha
Admission to PAF College Sargodha for the Flying Branch of the Pakistan Air Force is conducted in Class VIII. The selection process is rigorous and aims to identify candidates with the potential to excel academically, morally, and physically.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the 8th class admission at PAF College Sargodha, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Candidates must be over 11.5 years old and under 13.5 years of age on 1st January 2025. Remember that there are no exceptions to the age limit.
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class VII by April 2025. Those following the Cambridge System are also eligible to apply.
- Citizenship: The candidate must be a male citizen of Pakistan or Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of three phases:
- Phase-I: E-Testing, Initial Medical, and Initial Interview
- Phase-II: Final Interview
- Phase-III: Final Medical
Phase-I: E-Testing, Initial Medical, and Initial Interview
Eligible candidates will undergo a computer-based intelligence test. Those who pass the intelligence test will proceed to a multiple-choice academic test covering Mathematics, General Science, English, and Urdu. This phase also includes an initial medical exam and interview at PAF Information and Selection Centers.
- Intelligence Test: This test assesses the candidate’s IQ.
- Initial Medical: Conducted at PAF Information and Selection Centers, this test checks for basic medical standards required for the Flying Branch of the Pakistan Air Force. Candidates must have 6/6 vision without glasses and be free from deformities or medical conditions that would impede flying duties.
- Initial Interview: Candidates who clear the initial medical exam will participate in an interview at PAF Information and Selection Centers.
Phase-II: Final Interview
Candidates who pass the initial tests will face a Final Interview by an Interview Board, which assesses their knowledge, personality, character, and general aptitude.
Phase-III: Final Medical
Candidates selected in the final interview are called for the Final Medical Test conducted by PAF’s Central Medical Board (CMB) at designated locations in Islamabad, Sargodha, Lahore, and Karachi.

- Documentation: The College copy of the payment challan must be sent to the Admission Section of PAF College Sargodha.
- Prospectus: Available at all PAF Information & Selection Centers and PAF College upon submission of the Bank Challan on working days between 08:00 AM and 02:00 PM. Limited copies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
